…starting new things might feel difficult… ~ Comment by Chris Collins

Depending on your personality, starting new things might feel difficult. Perhaps we’re a control freak and we want to know exactly how things are going to pan out. Perhaps we’re naturally more laid back and just want to see where things lead. Or perhaps we’re somewhere in between.

This autumn sees the beginning of new things at St C’s – TGSA staff Morning Prayer, Craft Cafe, Open Hands, Charles joining us for his long-term placement.

We cannot know what will happen, but we can trust God. Indeed, we must trust Him. So much is outside our reach to control, but He is King over everything.

Please pray this autumn that God will act in the areas we can’t influence – in circumstances yes, but more than that in hearts and minds, which are beyond our power to influence…..but not his.

As Proverbs 16:9 says ‘The King’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord, He turns it wherever He will’ (NRSV)
