Vicar – Chris Collins
Chris Collins – vicar of St Christopher’s Church
Chris is vicar of St.Christopher’s and has been with us since early 2017.
He is from the Wirral on Merseyside and is married to Sarah, and they have two children – Josh & Faith. Before entering ordained ministry he worked in Housing, then in Local Authority Research and Statistics, and then as a Church Youth Worker.
He enjoys football & rugby, though mostly via a TV screen these days! He also enjoys good scotch, history books & spicy food.
He is passionate about opportunities to get to know people and share the good news of Jesus with them!
Curate – Charles Ndigirwa
Charles is currently a curate (minister in training) at St Christopher’s. He has been at St Christopher’s Church since 2018 as an ordinand (training for ordination).
Charles is originally from Tanzania and is married to Pauline. They have three children- Grace, Alex and Kisha. Charles moved to the UK in July 2004 to study for a BSc in Business Information Technology.
Before starting training for ordination he worked as an IT Administrator, Assistant accountant, carpenter, Swahili teacher and translator as well as serving as Prison Chaplain.
Charles enjoys all kinds of sports such as football, tennis, squash (playing as well as watching), cycling and running. He also enjoys cinema/films and spending time with the family.
Charles loves chatting and spending time with people. He loves to share ordinary life stories with people and opportunities to proclaim the gospel of Jesus
